I was obese..I weighed almost 300lbs. I signed up for Duke Diet & Fitness Center, and I lost 80 lbs! I still have some to lose, but I feel great and I am very happy.
Not bad, but not excellent. I have lost a few pounds with the diet.
DFC is quite a good center. They treat you in a unique way – they teach about the mind-body relationship and tell you how you to deal with your cravings and stop eating trigger food etc. In a way, all these are very useful in losing weight. I lost around 45 pounds through DukeDiet. The most important thing is that I didn’t have to battle to do it!
I’ve lost 85 pounds with DukeDiet. It’s really remarkable! The work-outs are easy and simple. The recipes are good. While the diet plans and daily tips are a great help to obese people like me. Having lost this much weight, I feel confident and sprightly. I’ve really shrug of my obesity with DFC.
No food combining; No forbidden foods. Maybe it was the fact that I liked the menus in the plan. it teaches you about nutrition, fitness -- and what i really like -- how to THINK differently about my relationship to food. most diets out there have a gimmick; the duke diet doesn't ... but after just three weeks i can tell you it works. plus, my sister went to the residential center and she lost 30-40 pounds and has KEPT IT OFF.
In a nutshell, it is for instantaneous weight loss but save your money as well. This is an excellent step-by-step guide to good health for people looking to make a lifestyle change and get into shape (as opposed to simply getting skinny for a short time). It requires that you address changes in habits that go beyond those dealing with food and eating habits. I highly recommend it .
